Laureates of the animal protection research prizes

The 2025 External Link:Animal Protection Research Prize of the Federal Ministry of Agriculture, Food and Regional Identity (BMLEH) was awarded on April 22, 2025. The prize is organized by the German Center for the Protection of Laboratory Animals (Bf3R) at the External Link:German Federal Institute for Risk Assessment (BfR) under the leadership of the BMLEH.

The laureates were honored in the following categories:

Animal Protection Research Prize for outstanding research achievements in replacing and reducing animal testing
