Aim
PARC as EU-wide research and innovation partnership program aims at supporting EU and national chemical risk assessment and management bodies with new data, knowledge, methods, networks and skills to address chemical safety challenges. A focus is to support the transition to next generation risk assessment for the protection of human health and environment. Within the work package human health, we pursue the development of methods and method batteries for addressing non-genotoxic carcinogenesis and interference with the thyroid hormone system based on cell-free and cellular assays and 3D models.
3R Relevance
Promote the transition to non-animal risk assessment of chemicals using human-centered testing and assessment strategies.
